Over the past two years, we have accompanied Dr. Ruit and his medical team to some of the remotest places in Asia and beyond, where they combat avoidable blindness among the world's disadvantaged. Now, we are turning our footage into a feature-length documentary.

SYNOPSIS

A filmmaker travels to the Himalayas to trace the inspiring story of the “God of Sight”: Nepalese eye surgeon Dr. Sanduk Ruit, who grew up in a remote mountain village, but went on to give more than 150,000 people their eyesight back. As the filmmaker follows the milestones of Ruit’s life, he discovers a deeper journey – one into the many other forms of blindness that afflict society, and the universal quest for purpose.
